CONFERENCE PURPOSE & HIGHLIGHTS
The IIBCC (International Inorganic-Bonded Fiber Composites Conference) provides the perfect opportunity for interaction between people with a common interest in all types of inorganic-bonded products and technologies including fiber-cement, fiber-gypsum, fiber-ceramics, wood cement products (WWCB, CBPB, WRCB), brick and block composites and other related topics. A wide variety of these technologies are extensively manufactured around the world while others are in concept stage.

IIBCC 2014 is planned to be in 3 days from 15th - 17th September 2014
The next IIBCC conference will be held in Vietnam in September 2014. Location has been decided as Danang City which is in the Central of Vietnam right between Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. Moreover, Danang is at the end of East-West Economic Corridor and is the gate to the Pacific of Myanma, Thailand, Laos and Vietnam. It is the fourth biggest economic center in Vietnam (after Ho Chi Minh City, Ha Noi, and Hai Phong).
International Airport of Danang, one of the three biggest international airports in Vietnam is the main gate for tourism as well as economic development in the area of Central Vietnam. Just one hour of flying from Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City, Danang International Airport is the link directly Danang to Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), Seoul, Incheon (Korea), Kunning, Beijing, Shanghai (China), Hongkong, Laos, Campodia, Novosibirsk, Taichung, Tokyo-Narita , Macau and Singapore.
Particularly, with 60km length, Danang beach is one of the six most beautiful beaches in the world (as of Forbe's selection). Further to wonderful beaches, Ba Na Hills, Son Tra Island, Ngu Hanh Son Mountain have made Danang the famous city in Vietnam for tourism. In addition to that, Da Nang is located in the center of three World Cultural Heritage: Imperial City of Hue, the Old Town of Hoi An, and the My Son Ruins.
Specific venue of IIBCC 2014 preferred by the local organizer is Furama Resort, one of the most beautiful 5-star resorts in Vietnam and the region.
The success of previous conferences has been based on the quality of the papers from participants. The call for abstracts is now open and we are ready to receive your abstract. So we encourage you to make your contribution if you have not done so already.
Your contribution can be on any topic related to inorganic bonded composites. Earlier conferences have had papers related to materials, processes of manufacture, innovative products using inorganic bonded composites, ancillary materials such as paints, adhesives, sealants etc., markets for inorganic bonded composites amongst others. We particularly encourage contributions on innovative ideas for inorganic bonded composites.
All abstracts will be assessed by our technical committee and final papers will be requested from those believed to be of most interest. The final papers will be peer reviewed and after peer review will be published in the conference proceedings that will be in printed copy and on DVD and maintaining tradition will be distributed to participants at the conference.
Successful contributors will be invited to present papers at the conference for open discussion by the participants.
